Dazzling Talisman in this Treasury!

One of the pieces from my Etsy store, Dazzling Talisman, is featured in this treasury! Lots of wonderful pieces here. Another nice affirmation to be featured in an Etsy Treasury. My thanks to NansGlam for adding my work.

Florals Anyone?

After my morning workout, I had an opportunity to create another Etsy Treasury, that I have called "Florals Anyone?" I chose various depictions of flowers by artists who use different mediums. I'm happy that I could include some of the bloggers I follow like Kristin Smith, Sue Furrow, and Laura Revey.

Since spring has yet to visit me at 7500' feet in elevation here in Colorado, I thought the least I could do was embrace it by enjoying the works of those talented Etsy artists.

Make it a weekend of great creativity....that is my plan. :D

Coppery Delights - Another Etsy Treasury

Last night I was able to create another Etsy Treasury...this one is filled with Coppery Delights! I was able to include fellow blogger, Sandy Cahill Johnson's piece..."I'm All Mixed Up".

I'm thinking about using copper for my wire wrapping, in addition to Argentium Silver and Gold Filled wire. Time to place an order with Rio Grande!

Still waiting for the kiln to cool so I can take a look at my tack fuse experiment. Hope to be able to post results later today.

Ain't nothin' but a hound dog.....

One of my favorite things in the whole world is a basset hound. And we have three of them! They are such characters, wonderful companions, and all around clowns. This morning I was able to create this Etsy Treasury, that I called "Ain't nothin' but a hound dog....". Some lovely works by more talented Etsians. I hope you will check this one out because there is at least one of the selections that will make you smile.

Another Etsy Treasury Created

Last night I was able to create another Etsy Treasury, which I called "He will lift you up...." . When you get to the treasury page, the rest of the statement is, "on Angel's wings".

I don't know what it is about angels, but I find them....well I don't really know what is the best adjective to use, so I'll just say.... they are beautiful. I know that my Guardian Angel has worked overtime throughout my life, keeping me safe.

I found such wonderful, eclectic pieces for this treasury. I think each item is so lovely, in its own way. I hope you will take a moment to check out the work of other artists that I've selected for this one and maybe even visit their Etsy stores. Thanks!

Happy, Colorful, Special Animals

I think most of you know that I have a very special place in my heart for animals. They are such blessings. I find it incredible to earn their trust. That being said, I have been fortunate enough to create another Etsy Treasury that I call, "Happy, Colorful, Special Animals"

I'm especially pleased that I could include two artists again that I know, Tracy Clarke and Rebecca Salcedo

If you have a chance, please check out the treasury and all the wonderful works there. Thanks.

Yep, I just created another treasury! This time it is dedicated to painters...you guys rock! I called this one "ready...Set....Paint!" and two of the featured individuals are my online artist friends, Tracey Clarke and Rebecca Salcedo.

I think the work in this treasury is fantastic and I hope you'll check it out.

Happy creating all!

I'm Having a Blast with Treasuries!

I think I'm getting the hang of creating these Treasuries on Etsy! It's a lot of fun because I can create themes that I like. Being a glass artist, I figured it was time to place some attention on a few of the wonderfully talented glass artists I've found on Etsy. Unfortunately, they only give us 12 slots for the selections, but I have LOTs more I would love to feature.

So, this is my latest Etsy Treasury selection, "Simply Mad About Glass!!!"

If you have a chance to visit this treasury, I hope you like these artists as much as I do and take a minute to check out their work.

Thanks!

A New Treasury - Collection of Beautiful Crosses

Right place, right time. I am definitely having fun putting together Etsy Treasuries with beautiful pieces I find there. I just created this one tonight and called it, A Collection of Beautiful Crosses. If you have a chance, check it out and visit the shops of other Etsians featured in this collection. Hope you enjoy.

And today was Christmas for me. I received Karen's painting, Medicine Bottle #2. It's even more gorgeous that her picture of it on her blog. I have promptly hung it in just the right spot in my studio. Love it, love it, love it. Thank you Karen.

In follow up to last night's post, I have new designs in mind for my next fusing adventure. I still need to finish Hues of Nature, which I will do this weekend. Stay tuned for more pictures!

Trees and Other Beauties

For a while I thought being able to create an Etsy Treasury was a myth! But tonight I was lucky enough to be at the right place and the right time (in front of my computer) and I was able to create a Treasury of my favorites that I called "trees and other beauties".

Most of you know that I favor things that are earthy and organic. I love nature, trees, leaves, etc. So check out my picks. Hope you enjoy them as much as I do!

What a Wonderful Surprise

This morning I received a note from Sandy Cahill Johnson that she has featured one of my wire wrapped pendants, "All that Glitters", upper left top row of the picture, in her treasury aptly named "It's a Wrap!". This is such a joy and honor for me to be featured with other wonderfully talented wire artists. Please take a moment to visit this treasury, and Sandy's Etsy Store SCJ Jewelry Design, and of course, Sandy's blog. She is a VERY talented wire artist / jewelry designer.

Report on Esty Valentine Showcase

I took this screen shot of my Butterfly Heart and listing on yesterday's Valentine Showcase on Etsy.

Unfortunately, no sales were generated from this attempt to be noticed on Etsy. I know it's tough, especially in the jewelry section, because there are so many talented people with great items. I didn't even notice that the number of views for any one item picked up that much either.

I do think I will try something like this again, just to see what happens. I'm not ready to rule this out as an avenue to generate sales on Etsy yet.

One good thing to report is another Etsy artist, Dawn E Bryant, put one of my hearts in her Treasury. I'm still learning my way around Etsy. From what I can tell, there are 333 Treasury selections that will be rotated on Etsy's main page. Great way to get noticed, especially when another 'Etsian' puts you on their list of Treasury favorites.

I've put links to Dawn's store and her treasury in the previous paragraph. Please click on these links and check them out, it's my way of returning the favor to Dawn. Thanks.

Off to the glass room to continue work on the piece I started yesterday. Ideas are flowing again. Gotta love that! Took me a while to get started on what I wanted to do, did a few drawings, searched for the right glass. Now the color combinations and ideas are flowing...gotta strike while the iron is hot!!! Happy creating everyone!
