I'm experimenting with some ideas and I would enjoy hearing your thoughts. I have seen some other artists offer their work for sale via their blog posts. I thought I would try this and incorporate it into my website too. While my Etsy store has been fun to create and change, I am leaning toward making items available for purchase, directly from me, through this blog or my website. What do you think?
This is my first offering. A pair of earrings, made from the Crinklized Dichroic glass that I love. More in that joyful rainbow pattern, from my Brilliance Collection. These are wire wrapped in Argentium Silver with Swarovski crystals. And the ear wires are also Agrentium Silver.
As always, I appreciate the willingness of all of you to share your thoughts with me. Thank you!

I think it's a great idea. I've had good success selling direct. The funny thing is that when one sells so will others and then there is this lull. Can't explain it.
LOVE these awesome ear-rings and how they are uniquely your style.
I love the idea of selling direct! I know a couple painters who use this approach. And it's another new thing for me to learn from you!!
Thank you so much Susan. It's good to hear of your experiences with direct sales too. Thanks for sharing.
Hey Linda, you know me, I'm more than happy to share with you. Glad you like the idea.
kathleen, that is a great idea and your earrings are lovely. Keep up the good fight!
Hi Kathleen,
Kind of a late reply, but I'm just catching up with my blog reading. I think it's a great idea to sell directly from your blog! Sometimes I think people get a little lost switching from a blog to an etsy site and back again.
I have no idea how to add a paypal link to a blog, though!
Do let us know how it works out for you; if it entices a sale or more views to your site.
Thanks Lori.
Hi Sandy. Milo is one of my Facebook friends and she saw this post there...liked these earrings and will be looking at them in person today. She's in town visiting family and picking up the stained glass window I did for her too. In a round about way this idea has led to a possible sale.
