Peace Offering - Complete
Here she is. Completed and framed with sunlight truly bringing her to life. Milo Stephen's painting (shown just below) and now in stained glass. Even if I do say so myself, I think she is gorgeous. It's been such fun working on this piece and seeing her come to life in glass. I just love the glass, especially the red background.
Now I get to enjoy the wonderful state of "makarios", which Aristotle used to define the highest human happiness. I love that feeling when I finish a piece of stained glass.

Wow, this piece is beautiful, i love the colors, specially the red in the background. It's gorgeous!!!
Kathleen, this is just a beautiful piece. The richness of the colors is fantastic. How long does it take you to do something like this?
Thanks Marilyn. I just love that red glass.
Thanks too Sharmon! I didn't keep an accurate account of the hours I put into this piece but I know it took somewhere between 40 - 60 hours from design to finished product. I find stained glass to be very time consuming, but I just love the results.
Glad both of you like this. Thanks!
Hi Kathleen - You've been very busy while I've been goofing off! :-)
What a wonderful interpretation of Milo's painting your Peace Angel is. The colors are so rich and vibrant. Your heart pendants are precious. And congrats on making the news, keep it up!
Wow Kathleen! She looks wonderful. I have always had a thing about stained glass. I love the way light shines through it.
