I like this piece, but it won't make the cut for my entries in the Glass at the Garden's show.
Initially, some of the kiln shelf paper (a brand I have discontinued using) flipped on top of the edges in some places during firing. Such a disappointment. I tried to salvage it with some cold working and adding a border, but on a subsequent firing, two of the air bubbles burst through the surface of the piece. It's not terrible, but it's not acceptable for the show entry.
I still feel like it deserves some recognition, so I'm posting a picture of it.
